I created this blog to write about my little family and the crazy, charmed life that we live! When I say "crazy", I just mean that things often seem chaotic (however I hear that is quite common when seemingly normal couples decide to have children). I also feel like I have 5o million different thoughts running through my head in any given moment (another thing that I hear is quite common among parents) so I decided to start writing about some of them!
First, let me tell you about me. My name is Katie Ebner. I am 29 years old and live in the great state of Louisiana. I grew up in an insanely small town in Tennessee. I went back there recently and could not believe that I once lived there! I would literally go stir crazy if I were to ever live in that small of a town again! I met my husband, Sean, during my Junior year of college. He was a Louisiana boy in the army, stationed in Fort Knox, KY, and we fell in love. As soon as I graduated from college in 2004, I made a beeline for Louisiana and haven't looked back since. We were married in February of 2006 and had our first child, Preslie Kate, in October of 2009. Life changed when we had Preslie and that is why I decided to include the word crazy in the title of our blog. Believe me, when you learn more about her, you will understand :). Anyways, I worked as a project manager at AT&T until August 2010, and then decided that I wanted to pursue a career in teaching elementary aged children so I took a leap of faith, quit my job, and started the journey to become a teacher. For the last year and a half, I stayed home with Preslie during the day and went to school at night. I have now completed all of my coursework (Thank You Lord!) and am student teaching. I lovemost everything chocolate, shopping (while not spending much money!), thriller/mystery/suspense novels and movies, overusing exclamation points and admittedly taking way too many pictures. Most of all, I love my family and the time we spend together!
